On Tuesday, March 19, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Community Ventures and Rural Partners Network will hold a Housing and Community Resource Fair at the Pontotoc Center at 100 W. State Line St. in Fulton. This free event will connect Fulton County and surrounding area residents to important information about homeownership, lending, employment, mental health, and other services.

Whether you’re a first-time homebuyer or just interested in speaking with a representative regarding any of the topics below, this event is for you. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with experts, gather valuable information, and take the next steps towards homeownership.

Guests will have the opportunity to speak with representatives from U. S. Department of Agriculture’s division of Rural Development, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Community Ventures, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, FNB Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Workforce Development, and more.

BOIL WATER NOTICE: As a precautionary measure, beginning immediately, February 19, 2024, a boil water notice has been issued for Fulton City Municipal Water customers on Fairview north of Seventh Street and the Housing Authority apartments between Fairview and N College(N College, Seventh, and Beechwood) due to a leak repair on the main. The City of Fulton Public Works Department is actively working on this leak. You may experience water loss or water pressure loss in other areas of town as well. We appreciate the patience and support of our customers and community. We are also grateful for the dedicated and knowledgeable employees that worked to repair the issue and ensure a safe and reliable source of water. City Hall Closing Due to Inclement Weather/Garbage Schedule Update

IMMEDIATE RELEASE The City of Fulton is announcing that city hall and other city offices will be closed on Thursday, January 18th, 2024 due to winter weather and unsafe conditions. This action is being taken to ensure safety for residents and city employees with potential vehicle or foot traffic hazards because of frozen precipitation. If you have a utility EMERGENCY call 270-236-3015 and a dispatcher will get you the on call staff. All other emergencies should use 911.

GFL’S latest update on the garbage route: Thursdays garbage route ran as scheduled today. Tuesdays route that was missed on January 16th, 2024 due to inclement weather will be picked up on the next regularly scheduled day, Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. We apologize for the inconvenience.
