Wastewater Department

The City of Fulton Wastewater Department is a class II treatment facility with two aerated lagoons totaling approximately 40 acres, eight sewage lift stations, and forty miles of sewer mains. It has a maximum discharge rate of up to 1.88 million gallons per day with an average monthly discharge of 600,000 gallons. Personnel are certified as “Class II Wastewater Operators” by the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The department has an approved pre-treatment program currently contracted to Russ & Associates of Central City, Kentucky.
