City Hall Closing Due to Inclement Weather/Garbage Schedule Update
IMMEDIATE RELEASE The City of Fulton is announcing that city hall and other city offices will be closed on Thursday, January 18th, 2024 due to winter weather and unsafe conditions. This action is being taken to ensure safety for residents and city employees with potential vehicle or foot traffic hazards because of frozen precipitation. If you have a utility EMERGENCY call 270-236-3015 and a dispatcher will get you the on call staff. All other emergencies should use 911.
GFL’S latest update on the garbage route: Thursdays garbage route ran as scheduled today. Tuesdays route that was missed on January 16th, 2024 due to inclement weather will be picked up on the next regularly scheduled day, Tuesday, January 23rd, 2024. We apologize for the inconvenience.

City of Fulton Garbage Pickup Holiday Schedule
City of Fulton residents whose garbage pickup day is normally Thursday will be rescheduled for EARLY FRIDAY MORNING, November 24, 2023. Please have your cans out for pickup THURSDAY NIGHT.
City of Fulton Leaf Pick Up Notice
Beginning Wednesday, November 1st, leaves will be removed by Fulton Public Works Department using a vacuum machine during the months of November and December. The leaf machine will cover the city from East to West weekly and then start over. Leaves, pine needles, and yard raking’s must be placed on the edge of the yard by the street (not in the street) so the vacuum machine can pick them up.
