Water Outage for Majority of City of Fulton and County Residents on Fulton’s water system
Many of the City of Fulton residents and county residents on the City of Fulton’s water system will experience a temporary water outage due to maintenance on the system at the water plant.

At 12:00 pm today, Tuesday, March 1, 2022, a boil water notice was issued for Fulton City Municipal Water customers in the Crutchfield area, State Route 1461, Highway 51, Airport Road, and State Route 166 past Walmart. The boil water notice was issued as a measure of precaution for our customers after the installation of a fire hydrant. We appreciate the patience and support of our customers and community. We are also grateful for the dedicated and knowledgeable employees that worked to repair the issue and ensure a safe and reliable source of water. Planned Water Outage for City of Fulton Residents Near Airport
The City of Fulton’s Public Works Department is installing a fire hydrant near the Fulton Airport. Some customers may experience a temporary water outage in the areas of State Route 1461, State Route 2149, and St Route 166.

At 3:00 pm today, Tuesday, February 15, 2022, a boil water notice was issued for Fulton City Municipal Water customers on Vernon, Vanlea, and Park Road, 100 & 200 block of N Highland. The boil water notice was issued as a measure of precaution for our customers after the water system experienced a drop in water pressure following a repair to a leak on this date. We appreciate the patience and support of our customers and community. We are also grateful for the dedicated and knowledgeable employees that worked to repair the issue and ensure a safe and reliable source of water. Thursday, Feb. 3rd missed garbage to be picked up Tuesday February 8th.
Due to inclement weather the garbage was unable to service the City of Fulton residents on their regularly scheduled pick up day on Thursday, February 3rd. This missed day will be made up on Tuesday, February 8th along with Tuesdays regularly scheduled route. Please have all cans placed at the curb the night before your scheduled pickup as the garbage company is trying to catch up and will start routes early. The garbage will also run on their regularly scheduled garbage day on Thursday, February 10th. Please have all garbage cans placed at the curb facing the correct way free of any obstructions. All garbage must be placed in the can with the lid closed. Any garbage not placed in the can with the lid closed will not be picked up.
City Of Fulton Credit And Debit Card Utility Payment Service Outage
The City of Fulton’s credit and debit card utility payment service (SmartBill) is experiencing a companywide outage. We are only able to accept cash, check, or money order at this time due to the outage. SmartBill is working diligently to correct the issue as soon as possible. We will update as soon as the service is restored.
