MOWING SERVICES ON CITY CODE ENFORCEMENT PROPERTIES
The purpose for the invitation to bid is to obtain pricing from private individuals or lawn care businesses to provide mowing services for the City of Fulton, KY on lots that the City is maintaining through code enforcement abatement efforts.

Description of work:
The City is currently mowing 60 lots on a bi-weekly rotation through Code Enforcement Efforts. The City’s expectation is that these areas are to be mowed and weed removal performed. It will be the responsibility of the contractor to mow and remove weeds as ordered by the Code Enforcement Officer. These lots may or may not have structures on them and vary in size from 50 feet x 150 feet but not exceeding half an acre.
Bid Packet should include the following:
- Bidder should submit in writing a price per lot to mow approximately 60 lots on a bi-weekly rotation as ordered by the Code Enforcement Officer.
- Bidder must include copy of Worker’s Compensation, Liability Insurance (with City of Fulton as an additional insured) in the amount of $1,000,000.
- Any bidder that is awarded the work must purchase a City Occupational License and City Motor Vehicle Sticker.
Sealed bids must be received no later than Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 02:30 PM. Bids must be turned into Fulton City Hall, 101 Nelson Tripp, Fulton, KY 42041. Bid packets must be clearly marked: “BID FOR MOWING SERVICES”. Bids received after this date will not be considered. The City reserves the right to evaluate the bids and reject any or all bids.
