Traffic ADVISORY

Motorists should be alert for heavy traffic along the Julian Carroll-Purchase Parkway at the KY 80 Exit 22 Mayfield Interchange starting about 5 p.m., today, and continuing through about Noon on Tuesday, March 5, 2018.

Dozens of officers from police agencies across the nation are expected to attend visitation and funeral services for fallen Hickman City Police Officer Rodney Smith.  Funeral services for the 45 year old officer will be held at the First Assembly of God just off KY 80 near the Purchase Parkway Exit 22 Interchange.

Motorists traveling the Purchase Parkway and KY 80 are asked to use extra caution due to expected traffic volume.

The City of Fulton, Kentucky is recruiting for the position of City Manager. The City of Fulton is a vibrant historical community situated in far western Kentucky, approximately a three hour drive from St. Louis, Nashville and Memphis. This is an administrative and supervisory position and the individual must be capable of managing employees in a multitude of department areas; becoming familiar with all city systems; understanding, planning, and formulating a city budget and overseeing the budget administration in a fiscally responsible
manner. Any applicant must have a thorough knowledge of city management procedures and public administration policies.
The City Manager candidate will have a strong background in finance, economic development, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The candidate for this position should have a bachelor’s degree, and/or five (5) years of municipality or management experience, together with other executive
